Springtime Sunshine

I captured this nature portrait in my yard on April 25th, 2017. Since it was sunny with a clear sky on this day, I decided to grab my camera and capture some photos. What caught my eye about this scene was how the sun was above the treetops and just beginning to pass over the house; as well as the sunlight reflecting off of the side of the house. Another element that I wanted to emphasize are the rays of the sun under the eaves. I also like the trees and their branches add different patterns that contrast well with the bright background. I chose sepia split-toning because it added the most contrast between the shadows and light.

Printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper. Limited to 150 productions per size.

Framed prints are available in 20" x 16", 30" x 24", 40" x 30", and 50" x 40" sizes.
