A Quick Bite To Eat

I captured this image of an Eastern Gray Squirrel in my back yard on November 4th, 2019. I was watching a squirrel feeder on my deck and found this squirrel eating corn dropped from the feeder above. Even though it stayed for only a minute, I was able to capture this image of it eating before it left. I photographed it in black and white because there was not much light available as it was the evening and I wanted more contrast, and the deck has little color as well. What I like the most about this image is how pronounced the fine detail of the squirrel's fur is and how sharp the outline is around it's eye.

Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching paper and Breathing Color canvas. Limited to 40 productions per size and type.

Prints are available in 20" x 16", 30" x 24", and 40" x 32" sizes.

Gallery canvas wraps are available in 20" x 16", 30" x 24", and 40" x 32", each with semi-gloss and matte lamination.
